Blood Cancer Awareness Month (September 2014)
September is officially Blood Cancer Awareness Month
The view this year is that diagnosis (particularly at GP level) needs to be improved to aid better survival rates. Hence emphasis is being placed on identifying the clusters of symptoms so that once pieced together, diagnosis can be achieved quicker.
What if anything are you planning to help increase awareness?
Do you think these 'awareness months' make a difference?
You now know the symptoms, but did you before your diagnosis?
