Pregnancy after stem cell
I don't know if this is the right place or if there's much point asking as I probably know the answer.
But has anyone had a natural pregnancy after transplant? Im on HRT for early menopause but I never had any symptoms of menopause and I'm still having periods. I know there's other options and I do have 2 kids anyway but I was just wondering if there was anyone with experience of a pregnancy after treatment

I not known personally of any patients who have been fortunate enough post a SCT to become pregnant. That said I have read about cases and the doctors have informed me that whilst, like yourself I'm in the early menopause and on HRT having periods, that without running tests they advise me there is still the slight possibility I could conceive.
Post my SCT I stopped having periods, however the HRT I am on causes me to have a withdrawal bleed which is like a period. (femoston) I did experience menopausal symptoms such as flushes, acne etc. however some of that can be caused by other medication as well which post my SCT I am still taking. A blood test confirmed I was in the early stages of menopause and to alleviate the symptoms as well as to help bone density I was prescribed HRT.
If you are considering the option of another child, I do believe due to your treatment the other options as in IVF are available and unlike couples trying normally there is no wait period. I'd advise that you speak to your GP &/or consultant. You may also find it helpful to speak to your doctor about the HRT and their decision to prescribe it to you.
Wishing you the best
